What is Reiki?
Reiki is a spirutal healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word "Rei" which means Universal Life, and "Ki" which means Energy. And together means the use of Universal Life Energy to boost the life force energy of a individual person by using a practitioner to be the conduit of the Universal Life energy to guide and direct the Reiki into the required spots on phyical and energetic bodies to do its healing work.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath uses the vibrational healing of sound bowls, chimes, gongs, bells and solfeggio frequencies to create a deeply resotrative and meditative experience. The soothing tones and frequencies of the bowls guide you into a state of deep relaxation, allowing for emotional release, energetic alignment , and a renewed sense of inner balance.
How should I prepare?
The most important thing is to come into session with an open mind and in a state of surrender. Reiki is non-invasive and deeply consensual-based meaning you have to give permission to the Reiki to come in and do the hard work. This leaves you in a place to relax, lie down and experience deep relaxation. It would also be recomended to come in with 3 areas of which are your top concern for healing, so I as the practitioner, can tailor the session to your specific needs.
What should I expect?
You can expect to fall into a deep space of relaxation where you may feel emotions rise and fall, you may see colors or shapes, or you may simply fall asleep. It is best to not have expectation and surrender to the Reiki to show you what it feels is best for the moment. You can also expect to be a bit sleepy after the session in which it is recomended to take it easy for the rest of the day and stay hydrated.
